2. Epoxy Coating
   Epoxy creates a thick, durable coating that forms a new surface over your stone. While long-lasting, epoxy fails to conform to the stone's natural shape, often resulting in uneven edges or blobs that detract from its aesthetic appeal. This can give the surface a "cheap" appearance and diminish its value.

3. Anti-Etch Sealant
   Anti-Etch is a permanent sealant that prevents etching by forming a cured, solid layer over the stone. While effective, it has several drawbacks:

   • Susceptible to scratches.

   • Very expensive.

   • Application requires heavy chemicals, which, if mishandled, can result in a cloudy or uneven finish.

   • Prone to yellowing over time, with removal requiring grinding, which risks damaging the stone.
